Maintaining Your License Requirements
 

The Texas Department of Insurance requires that you complete 30 hours of CE per 2 year reporting period.  You must complete 2 of those hours in Consumer Protection or Adjuster Ethics.

You will be mailed a certificate of completion shortly after completing any of our courses.

Available Insurance CE Courses Online:

• 30 hour Texas CE Package (All License types) (30 hours) - $39.00
• Insurance Laws in the US (15 hours - 12 Gen 3 Ethics) - $49.00
• Texas Commercial Property Coverage (4 hours) - $20.00
• Insurance Principles and Concepts (3 hours) - $15.00
• Texas Personal Lines Coverage (3 hours) - $15.00
• Texas Personal Auto Policy (2 hours) - $10.00
• Inland and Ocean Marine Coverage (2 hours) - $10.00
• Crime Coverage (1 hour) - $10.00

License types that require 30 hours of CE with 2 hours of ethics and consumer protection:

• General Lines - Life, Accident, Health, and HMO (LAH)
• General Lines - Property and Casualty (PC)
• Life/Health Insurance Counselor
• Adjusters and Public Adjusters
• MGA
• Limited Lines (LAH, PC, others)
• Insurance Service Representative (ISR)
• Full Time Home Office Employee

License types requiring only 10 hours of CE with 2 hours of ethics and Consumer Protection: 

• Limited Lines (LAH, PC, others)
• Life Insurance Under $15,000
• County Mutual
